Haydn

Online Music International Competition

The work of Haydn, known as the ‘father of the symphony’ and a major representative of Viennese Classicism, is the perfect inspiration for our wide-ranging competition. His music symbolises balance, innovation and mastery, which can inspire artists to challenge themselves and seek dialogue between tradition and modernity.

Risk-free formula

The Haydn Online Music International Competition is based on the “risk-free competition” idea. The Preliminary Round is free of charge. Only participants who make it to the Final Round are required to pay an administrative fee. This is intended to reduce the financial risk associated with participating without a guarantee of a prize. Therefore, all entrants who decide to participate in the final round are guaranteed a prize.

How does it work

To register for the Competition, applicants are required to fill in the application form and submit a link to their recording. The recordings will be screened out during the Preliminary Round. The top candidates will be invited to the Finals via email.
